  • Background Noise Level of 45 dBA
  • NRC 0.7 or higher on area equal to or greater than the ceiling or
  • Show through calculation that room meets T60 required by ANSI S12.60

Summary of EQ Credit 9: Enhanced Acoustical Performance (1–2 Points)

  • STC ratings between spaces 45 and 60 depending on space usage
  • STC ratings of windows of 35
  • Background Noise Level of 40 dBA

Classroom Acoustics (LEED for Schools EQ Prerequisite 3 & EQ Credit 9)

Recycled Content (MR Credits 4)
